The remembrance of a time when paper was used as packaging material in traditional trade was the inspiration for the development of this artistic venture. The 'O Grande Embrulho' project is not only a multi-disciplinary show but also an ecological movement looking for an encounter with communities in everyday places like markets, shops, schools, theatres, public parks and squares.

Starting out from a game played with the packaging material itself, the spectator is invited to reflect on how the simplest decisions of everyday life – for example, the moment in which we choose a paper bag to pack our purchases – can be of smaller and larger significance to life on our planet.
