For this reason, running parallel to the show, other events will be organized, in which different audience groups are invited to experience shared moments of discovery and learning. "Tome e Embrulhe" and "A Oficina" are the activities that complete the mission of this artistic "package".

	TOME E EMBRULHE is an initiative that distributes paper bags in traditional places of trade – such as the indoor markets found all over Portugal. It travels as an integral component of the show 'O Grande Embrulho' for performances in villages and towns, but can also function as an independent event in market halls throughout the country.

A OFICINA is a program of workshops that are suitable for all age groups and contain a theoretical and a practical component. The workshop events are based on conversations with the participants and serve to illustrate the creative background of the 'O Grande Embrulho' project.

Through practical activities the participants explore the aesthetics and the material nature of paper by means of improvisational games and techniques of object manipulation.
