'O Grande Embrulho' is a contemporanian circus show where performative modes of expression - clown, dance, music and object manipulation – come together around a cone-shaped paper bag.

In a visually poetic performance the functional purpose of the bag is deconstructed to reveal unexpected forms, structures and sounds from this organic living object.

The intimate encounter of artist and object engages the audience in an experience of the senses, enchanting people of all ages and cultures. 'O Grande Embrulho' comprises a strong ecological component, "packaged" in moments of humour, surprise and poetry.

The show is performed as a 50-minute indoor version and as a 40-minute version designed to meet the needs of public-space venues.
